Title: Team Member & Sales Associate

Millwood Market is a large-scale gas station and convenience store with location sin Manhasset, NY and Millwood, NY. We are currently looking for team members to deliver fast and friendly customer service while also maintaining the store both inside and out.

Responsibilities:

Sales Associate / Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Address customer issues in a prompt, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment.
• Greet and thank customers as they enter and exit.

Daily Tasks:

• Keep all work areas clean and orderly.
• Follow guidelines for food prep, cash handling, facility maintenance, and other procedures.
• Assist with incoming store deliveries, price, pack-out, and maintain orderly shelving and displays.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside of the store (countertops, floors, trash, bathrooms, etc.).
• Consolidate garbage and cardboard.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Foodservice:

• Follow proper food handling and sanitation guidelines (wash hands, wear gloves, etc.).
• Keep food prep areas clean and orderly.
• Defrost and prepare grab-and-go foods daily.

Qualifications:

• Able to maintain timely arrival and adhere to store scheduling.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain a friendly demeanor while effectively communicating with customers, team members, and management.
• Must have your own transportation to and from our location in Millwood, NY

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for long periods.
• Frequently reach overhead, bend, squat, and pivot.
• Occasionally work in cold environments.
